Urban Olive was born from a family dream to bring the flavors, traditions, and hospitality of our Mediterranean coastal hometown to downtown Raleigh. Located inside Transfer Co. Food Hall, our name honors the olive trees and citrus groves we grew up around, where food has always been a way to bring people together.
We are a family owned and operated Mediterranean restaurant, with our parents, siblings, and close friends working side by side every day. From shawarma and gyro to hummus, falafel, and fresh salads, everything is made from scratch with the same care we would serve at our own family table.
